Some theories suggest that the jetsΓÇÖ source, the nucleus, wobbles over time and creates kinks; others think the diffuse gases found outside galaxies deflect the jets. 3C 75 provides an important piece to this puzzle. One hopes images such as these will ultimately yield a better understanding of merging galaxies, radio jets, and intergalactic gases.
